Movie-8 Fitness + Boxing is a fitness studio that offers a unique and fun approach to getting in shape. Our gym is inspired by the communities we serve and our program incorporates boxing elements into our workouts to keep things exciting and engaging.

Our gym offers a variety of group classes and personal training options for all fitness levels. From high-intensity boxing classes to HIIT training, we have something for everyone. We are dedicated to helping you reach your fitness goals and will provide personalized attention and support throughout your fitness journey.

In addition to our fitness classes, our certified Parkinson’s coach offers specialized boxing classes for those suffering from Parkinson’s Disease and older adults that want to improve balance, hand eye coordination, and overall well-being.

You're motivated to step up your fitness game! Consistency is a key element in making progress in your individual health and fitness goals. This program of 4 sessions per month will keep you on track to see the results you are after.

Want to mix things up? Well, mix up your 4 sessions per month with either group boxing classes or HIIT group fitness classes.

Fitness Boxing

Our fitness boxing/kickboxing classes bring 8 rounds of high-intensity heavy bag work, with intermittent active rest.  This program shows you the boxing basics and keeps your heart rate at optimum levels for fat-burning and building endurance. We also change up our workouts each day to keep it fresh.

HIIT Training

Our high-intensity interval training programs are a great complement to our boxing/kickboxing classes. These classes bring the same intensity as our boxing classes but are focused on resistance training.  We use resistance bands, weights, kettlebells, and body weight to maximize results.

Personal Training Sessions

Our personal training sessions are developed with your overall fitness goals in mind. We will work with you on a specialized program that is convenient and is paced to provide a consistent approach to showing personal progress.

Older Adults/Parkinson’s Clients

One of our passions is working with older adults and helping them stay active and healthy through boxing. We believe that age should not be a barrier to staying fit and strong, and that boxing can be a great way for older adults and those suffering from Parkinson’s disease to

maintain their physical and mental well-being.

We understand the unique challenges that come with aging, such as decreased mobility and balance, and we tailor our training methods to suit the individual needs of each older adult that we work with. We focus on building strength, coordination, and agility, while also incorporating

exercises to improve cognitive function and hand-eye coordination.

But more than just physical fitness, we also recognize the mental benefits of boxing for older adults. It can help boost confidence, reduce stress and anxiety, and improve overall mood and well-being. We have seen firsthand how boxing can bring a sense of purpose and fulfillment to older adults, helping them feel strong and capable.

We are also strong advocates for the social aspect of boxing. Our programs create a welcoming and inclusive environment for our older adult clients, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie.

I have always been passionate about fitness and staying active, but my love for fitness boxing and strength training truly ignited when I started taking classes at my local gym. I was immediately drawn to the intensity and challenge of these workouts, and I quickly became hooked.

 

As I continued to train and improve my skills, I also noticed the positive impact it had on my overall physical and mental well-being. Not only did I feel stronger and more confident, but I also found that my stress levels decreased, and my mood improved.

 

This passion for fitness boxing and strength training led me to become a NASM certified personal trainer, Parkinson’s boxing certified, and group fitness instructor, so I could share my love for these activities with others. I have seen firsthand the transformative effects they can have on people's lives, and it brings me joy to help others reach their fitness goals and improve their overall health.

I believe that fitness should be enjoyable and accessible to everyone, and I strive to create a welcoming and inclusive environment in my classes and training sessions. I am constantly learning and expanding my knowledge in order to provide the best possible experience for my clients.

Overall, my passion for fitness boxing, strength training, and helping people stems from the belief that a strong and healthy body is the foundation for a happy and fulfilling life. I am grateful to be able to share this passion with others and help them on their own fitness journeys.
